Insurance Operations Manager (Commercial SME)
Are you an experienced Insurance professional with sound understanding of SME commercial lines business with an insurer, MGA or B2B General Insurance broking background, with management experience? A forward-thinking Insurance firm, based in Sevenoaks are now seeking to expand into new client sectors and markets whilst continuing to develop existing lines, and as such they are looking to appoint a new Insurance Operations Manager, who has a wide range of skills and experience, gained within the commercial insurance market.

You will be responsible for the management of a team of 2 here, both of whom are long established employees, who know their jobs inside out (so a dream to manage), as well as the day to day management of the existing operations of the business, reporting into the Operations Director.
This will include working on key clients and their retention, as well as business development - seeking new opportunities for the business. Another aspect of your role will be compliance monitoring and you will also be required to manage operational relationship with key suppliers, including insurance partners.
You will also get the chance to work on and Identify additional markets to support business growth and General Insurance Product Development. So this really is a very diverse and interesting role, where no two days will be the same, and a genuinely interesting job given the variety here.
We would be keen to speak to you if you have a background in commercial insurance, along with operational management, people management and client facing insurance experience. As such, a sound understanding of SME commercial lines business practices and principles, including contractual, commercial and risk management are essential. You will also hold the Dip CII as a minimum.
In short, you will need to be a commercial insurance all-rounder, with the ability to wear several hats, and the ability to work on multiple projects and tasks at any given time.
In return, the salary on offer is circa £55k depending on experience, plus performance related bonus.

Working hours are Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm.
