We offer bespoke search on either a retained, exclusive, or contingency basis to undertake your hiring needs. We recruit from Trainee level, all the way up to strategic board level hires and will work closely with you to make sure we find and attract the best talent in the insurance market to YOUR business. But don’t take our word for it, check out what some of the clients that trusted us to recruit for them below have to say as well as some of the talent we have found for them.
Retained search is a slightly different approach to the usual contingency recruitment model. It is where you partner with us on an exclusive basis to fill your open positions and are paid almost as if we are employed by you, the hiring company.
Unlike contingency search, where multiple firms compete to fill a position, as a retained search firm we are retained on an exclusive basis and are paid a fee upfront for our services. This approach ensures a dedicated search process to find the best candidate for the role and results in a very high fill and retention rate.
Benefits of Retained Search
Dedicated Recruiter: With a retained search, you will benefit from having a dedicated experienced recruiter who focuses solely on your recruitment needs.
Thorough Candidate Screening: We will invest significant time and resources in screening and assessing suitable candidates. They will conduct in-depth interviews, reference checks, and background screenings to ensure the candidates presented to you are highly qualified and aligned with the role requirements.
Commitment to Finding the Best Fit: With a retained search we are committed to finding the best candidate for the position, not just the first available candidate’s.
Contingency recruitment
This is a hiring model where a company pays a recruitment agency only if the agency successfully places a candidate in an open position. This model is sometimes called “no win, no fee” We do a lot of this form of recruitment and it is the main way Agencies are engaged in the insurance market still, and whilst it has plenty of positives, this model does not include as much buy in from you, our client and means we cannot dedicate quite as much time to a specific role that we would be able to if on a retained or exclusive basis. You will still have a dedicated account manager and of course lots of attention on your vacancies too, just not quite as much as a retained search!
