Commercial Account Handler

We are currently working with a fast growing insurance brokers, based in Andover who now have a nice opportunity for someone to join them to handle renewals on their Existing business team. This broker want staff to come in and enjoy what they do, and stay for the long term.

This team here handle SME business, for shops, restaurants, pubs, and tradesman as well as some Property Owners and Commercial Combined too.  

With some highly ambitious future plans our client has already seen tremendous growth, and we are looking for a Commercial Insurance/ Renewal Account Handler who wants to join them on this journey.

The business currently has a total team of 15, with 3 currently in the renewals team, and they want you to take this up to 4! 

You’ll be responsible for managing the renewal process for your SME commercial clients, with occasional cross selling. There is minimal new business for you to deal with, only during exceptionally busy periods when you may need to take an overflow call! As such you will need at least 2 years commercial insurance experience to be considered and ideally have used the Acturis system. 

In return they offer a salary of £30-35k, a lively working environment, with 20 days holiday plus bank holidays, an extra day off for your birthday. The working hours are Monday to Thursday, 9am to 6pm and Friday 9am to 5pm.  They also operate a casual dress code, so no need to worry about wearing business attire here!
