Account Handler (Private Clients)
We have a super opportunity to join a well known broker, who are part of a larger group which spans the breadth of the insurance sector and is powered by more than 9000 employees.
This broker specialise in a range of personal lines products, including Motor, Home, Classic Car, Classic Bike, Kit Car & Replica Car and HNW insurance, and have a vacancy on their private clients team, who handle insurance for luxury and high spec vehicles and car collections, with values above £100,000 as well as some HNW Household too. They are now looking for the next superstar of their business to join them as an Account Handler, and that is where you come in!
Every day you will be supporting a designated client portfolio across these classes of business, acting as their first point of contact at point of sale, building strong relationships, and supporting them with queries as they arise, managing this client the whole time they are with the business. This role is perfect for you if you love customer service or sales as relationship-building with their clients will be the key to your success here. You will be joining a vibrant team of 10, with a mix of experience.
To be considered you will need to have experience of the Insurance Industry (at least 2 years personal lines, ideally with some exposure to HNW clients, though the HNW experience is not essential), the rest is all about you as a person. Most important is your ability to bring your best self to work every day to give your clients the best possible experience, next, they need you to be proactive, use your initiative and show your entrepreneurial spirit. You will also have a willingness to learn and be curious. Incidentally, they offer tons of opportunity to gain qualifications that will enhance your career in this growing industry!
Salary on offer is £25-27,500, plus pension, 26 days holiday and an extensive benefits package. There is also a quarterly bonus available after probation and licences are obtained, which works out £3-4,000 per annum.
Hours are Monday – Friday 9am – 17:15pm. They do on occasion complete additional over time (voluntary) and you may be required to attend shows/events or client visits on a weekend (but again this is voluntary).
There is an aspect of flexibility with being in the office, staff can work from home Monday & Tuesdays once training and sign off has been obtained, however this team generally prefer to be in the office five days but the option is there.
